Remains
Loot
A corpse rolls its species table, then an extra roll for rings, armor, weapons, capes, necklaces, and the rest of the worn families. Gold and hero XP are separate and are listed under Combat.
How a roll works
The foe’s species picks the table. Their base level picks the rarity band: common from 1, uncommon from 20, rare from 40, epic from 60, legendary from 80. A rare wolf rolls the common mammal table and the rare mammal table. An epic rolls common, rare, and epic. Lower bands are included; the band you skipped is not inventing a new item, it is adding the better list.
Relative chances written on the tables: common 1, uncommon 0.5, rare 0.2, epic 0.08, legendary 0.02. If a species is missing, the fallback is mammal. Rings of raw strength, dexterity, intelligence, vitality, and defense are sold by vendors and do not drop.
A rare wolf rolls mammal.common and mammal.rare. An epic rolls common, rare, and epic.
