Towns
Bronze Castle is home for the opening act. A town is where you look, buy, wear, rest, bank, craft, enchant, and save. The wilds do not sell anything.
A day in town
You start with 25 gold. Buying costs the item’s full value. Selling pays 40% of that value, rounded by the stall. Resting at the inn costs 10 gold, refills HP, mana, and stamina, and advances the day. Twenty ordinary actions also roll the day over. The bank holds items and gold separately from the bag: deposit, withdraw, deposit_gold, withdraw_gold.
Three stalls: general (food, trinkets, rings, rune dust), blacksmith (weapons and armor), alchemist (potions). enter_shop picks one. buy uses the id on that counter. A town you have not reached yet will not take your gold.
Bronze Castle keeps every bench, including the only early rune table. Later villages drop benches. If a craft says there is no forge here, you are in the wrong town, not the wrong recipe.
Benches
| Bench | Profession | Makes |
|---|---|---|
| Forge | Metalworking | Ingots, melee weapons, shields, chain and plate |
| Sawbench | Woodworking | Planks, bows, staves, tomes, orbs |
| Loom | Textile | Cloth, cloth armor, capes |
| Tannery | Leatherer | Leather, leather armor, quivers, necklaces |
| Alchemy table | Alchemy | Reagents and potions |
| Rune table | Enchanter | Weapon and armor enchantments |
look_stations() is the honest list for the floor you are standing on. The atlas on the Continents page shows which town was given which benches.

Search by item, stall, or town id. The id column is the string you pass to buy.
